Synopsis: Rafi, a recently divorced 37-year-old Manhattan career woman, is pursued by Dave, a 23-year-old Brooklyn artist who is smitten with her. As their romance develops, complications arise from friends and family, particularly from Dave's mother, who also happens to be Rafi's therapist.
Review: *** Uma Thurman is excellent in this dramatic love story and Greenberg was good too. Unfortunately Streep overplays her
pivotal role of a wheezy Jewish mother/therapist and the plot leaves you hanging at the end.

Synopsis: Catherine comes to terms with the death of her father, a brilliant mathematician who also suffered
from mental health problems. Catherine has inherited her father's genius, but fears she may also be destined to
lose her grip on reality. With the help of one of her father's former students, Catherine sorts through her
father's notebooks and begins to rediscover him. Catherine's estranged sister, Claire, also comes home to help
settle the family's affairs.
Review: *** Evidently an award winning stage play can be successful on the screen with much praise to Gwyneth Paltrow.
